OUR COMPANY
Standing out in the entertainment industry is harder than ever. With our classical training, nightlife experience, and world-class production standards, we serve clients who want bold, original work across theater, immersive experiences, luxury partnerships, and nightlife events. Mimzical was created to identify exceptional talent, build on what sets it apart, and support it with strong creative direction and production. By prioritizing both process and product, our work continues to exceed expectations, engage audiences, and elevate our craft.
OUR FOUNDATION
Mimzical rests on four principles: belonging, striving, courage, and craft. They shaped our founder, and they guide everything we do. Mimzical is a feeling, a place, and a community: the thrill of rising to the challenge, a home where unique expression becomes a valued craft, and a society of oddballs who know artistry takes courage.
OUR MISSION
With every collaboration, we draw closer to our ultimate goal: a black box theater where fellow artists can develop their craft, experiment fearlessly, and generate bold new performance work. A dedicated creative space where perfomers can make a living doing what they love, support one another, and make a positive difference in the community. It is an American dream for the arts, and one that will fuel Miami's cultural growth for years to come.

Milena Straczynski is a performer, choreographer, and creative director whose work builds immersive worlds from a singular blend of aerial artistry, burlesque, and dreamy realism. Born in Moscow to a Polish mother and a Vietnamese father, whose paths led through the opera and the military circus, she grew up surrounded by stagecraft. When her family needed a place that would welcome their mixed heritage, they left Russia for Miami in 1995, where she found a lifelong home in entertainment.
A dancer since she could walk, Milena knew at six that ballet was her future. After intense early training in Russia, she was spotted through the window of a Lincoln Road ballet studio and earned a six-year scholarship. She went on to study the work of Alvin Ailey, Martha Graham, Peter London, and Robert Battle, graduating high school and college in just three years. Her body didn’t fit the classical mold, so she built her own path.
That path ran straight through Miami nightlife. Beginning as a go-go and disco dancer at Snatch, the city’s answer to Coyote Ugly, she taught herself commercial hip hop and went on to perform as a backup dancer for Pitbull, Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony, and Daddy Yankee, and in Rock of Ages. A fearless New York audition, with no vocal training and a late arrival to the final callback, won her a role in Orchid, a sit-down cabaret where the women were the flowers and the men were the bees. It also brought her to Hampus Jansson, a Swedish aerialist who had performed with Cirque du Soleil. She fell in love and was lifted off the ground for the first time.
Milena chose to follow Hampus rather than take another gig, and together they built a life and a career as a married aerial duo. In 2013 they began performing at E11EVEN Miami, where they remain resident performers. After training in Sweden, she discovered circus at 27 and developed her signature fusion of burlesque and aerial acrobatics while performing eight shows a week. Their stage credits include Tryst, Allura, Carmen, and Retro, produced by Quixotic at the Faena Theater.
Beyond the stage, Milena has become a sought-after creative mind. She directed Allura at Faena and collaborated with Moki Baby, an immersive production staged in Miami’s historic Dupont Building, a former bank, that left audiences on a high long after the final curtain. As creative directors for special events at Fisher Island and Faena, she and Hampus unite performance, design, atmosphere, and storytelling into singular artistic visions.
Ever resilient and boundlessly curious, Milena turns restriction into invention, and she keeps alive the vision of a late mentor who encouraged her love of the unusual. She is the director, coach, and choreographer she once wished she had, directing, casting, and mentoring with the same fierce heart she brings to the stage. A performer by instinct and a creator by vision, she is determined to be known not only as half of a powerhouse duo, but as the creative force behind some of Miami’s most memorable immersive experiences.

Born in Stockholm, Sweden, Hampus Jansson has built an extraordinary career at the intersection of performance, theatrical artistry, and high-end entertainment. With a background in acting and elite circus training at Montreal’s National Circus School, one of the world’s most prestigious circus institutions, Jansson has evolved into a distinctive artistic presence on the international stage. His career includes performances with Cirque du Soleil and Australia’s renowned entertainment company Strut’n’Fret, where artistry, physical precision, and theatrical storytelling converge.
Together with his wife and aerial partner, Milena Straczynski, Jansson has captivated audiences across the globe with an aerial duo that transcends traditional performance. Their signature style blends breathtaking athleticism with sensuality, emotional depth, and cinematic visual storytelling, creating performances that are as intimate as they are spectacular.
Now based in Miami, the duo has established a prominent presence in the city’s luxury entertainment scene. As resident performers at E11EVEN, they have become part of the fabric of Miami’s vibrant nightlife and live entertainment culture. Their stage credits include Tryst, Allura, Carmen, and Retro, produced by Quixotic at the celebrated Faena Theater, where theatrical sophistication meets extraordinary live performance.
Beyond the stage, Jansson and Straczynski have expanded their artistic influence into the world of luxury experiences and bespoke productions. As creative directors for special events at Fisher Island and Faena, they bring an international perspective to the conception and execution of extraordinary experiences, uniting performance, design, atmosphere, and storytelling into singular artistic visions.
A performer by instinct and a creator by vision, Hampus Jansson represents a new generation of entertainment talent: artists who move effortlessly between the stage and the creative helm, bringing together the spectacle of world-class circus, the sophistication of theatrical production, and the glamour of the luxury entertainment world.
His work continues to push the boundaries of live entertainment, transforming extraordinary moments into unforgettable experiences.
